About Amy McCarty, Author and Motivational Speaker

My Qualifications

  • Author of There is Hope for Us (2023), a memoir of navigating grief and rediscovering purpose.
  • Upcoming second book, There is Peace for Us (2025), continuing the journey from hope to peace.
  • Published blogger, sharing reflections on grief, healing, faith, and growth.
  • Experienced in marketing and storytelling, bringing 20+ years of professional writing, communication, and creative direction.

My Approach

I don’t write to give quick answers — I write to be honest. My words come from lived experience, faith, and the belief that hope is possible after loss. My style blends warmth, humor, and authenticity, because healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time. I write as if I’m sitting across from you with a cup of coffee, telling the truth about both the pain and the joy of life.

My Specialties

  • Personal storytelling that connects deeply with readers
  • Grief, loss, and healing through an honest and faith-centered lens
  • Blending humor with hard topics to bring lightness to heavy conversations
  • Encouragement, inspiration, and reminders of peace in everyday life
  • Writing for talks, blogs, books, and workshops
